Recruitment

Welcome to the UNOPS Global Personnel Recruitment System (GPRS), an online recruitment system which connects skilled candidates to diverse and challenging jobs in aid and development. The GPRS allows candidates to apply for current vacancies within UNOPS and to register for the UNOPS roster in order to be considered for upcoming positions.

The GPRS has been designed to simplify and streamline the application process, allowing applicants to create and save a personal profile and use this to apply to multiple positions. Applicants can monitor the status of applications by logging into their account. Interested applicants can also search the GPRS for vacancies and roster profiles without creating an account.

Please note that UNOPS does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process. For more information click here.

Roster profiles

UNOPS roster profiles reflect those jobs we most frequently hire for, in our primary areas of work: project management, procurement, finance, human resources and more.

When UNOPS needs to recruit, we will use our roster to identify qualified applicants who will be invited to confirm their availability and interest. This will provide an opportunity to submit a specific cover letter, or update the applicant profile with any further qualifications or skills. View roster profiles

Vacancies

In addition to using the roster to identify qualified candidates for a specific vacancy, UNOPS hiring managers may also choose to list a vacancy announcement on the GPRS. Please note that vacancies close at midnight Copenhagen time. View current vacancies

Getting started

Using the GPRS is easy. To apply to a specific vacancy or a roster profile applicants must first create an account. Applicants then fill in details including personal information, education, experience, languages, skills and other information. This personal profile does not have to be completed in one go but can be saved and updated on an ongoing basis. Create your profile

Submitting an application

Once a personal profile has been completed candidates can apply to specific vacancies or roster profiles. At this point, applicants may be asked to fill in further details or upload documents relevant to a particular application. Applicants can submit their application by clicking on the ‘Submit application’ button.
