UNOPS policies and procedures are stated in the form of Organizational Directives and Administrative Instructions.

These provide the legislative framework in which UNOPS operates. Since 2006, UNOPS has worked hard to renew its legislative framework, establishing clear policies and procedures by updating old policies and producing new ones where necessary.

Organizational Directives are organization-wide policies that govern actions within UNOPS and external relations. Administrative Instructions explain procedures and business processes for the implementation of Organisational Directives,  as well as United Nations legislation applicable to UNOPS.
