She Builds

To mark International Women’s Day, UNOPS partnered with Devex and other campaign partners – Chemonics, Department for International Development UK (DFID), JBS International and Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) – in an online campaign called She Builds. The campaign aimed to draw attention to the pressing challenges faced by women and girls around the world and some solutions to those challenges. The weekly themes were communities, economies, innovation and future.
UNOPS supported the campaign on our social media channels - Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin and we welcomed your participation via the campaign discussion board or by using the hashtag #SheBuilds on Twitter.

Much has been done,
but far from enough

During March 2014, UNOPS participated in a
global conversation on the challenges that women and girls face
around the world as well as highlighting some solutions.
UNOPS is committed to playing its part, both in our workforce and in
our projects, to meet these challenges. Read what our former Executive Director had to say about the need for renewed efforts and watch the video to learn more about our workplace gender policies.
