Reducing poverty in Myanmar
The Livelihoods and Food Security Trust Fund (LIFT) was set up to help reduce poverty in Myanmar.
LIFT's activities focus on increasing food availability and income for two million beneficiaries. The programme has also provided training to more than 55,000 people (60 percent women), and has given more than 20,000 people (78 percent women) access to credit.
