Contributions needed for high-profile publication on procurement and the 2030 Agenda

UNOPS is seeking diverse articles for an upcoming publication on how procurement can support the Sustainable Development Goals.

The high-profile publication will be published as a supplement to the 2016 Annual Statistical Report on United Nations Procurement. It will include a range of case studies that contribute to new and useful insights on procurement and the 2030 Agenda.

Interested academics, researchers, or procurement professionals are invited to submit case studies, research articles, papers, or best practices for consideration. Contributors may wish to explore how the concepts of procurement and supply chain can play a driving force for sustainable development. Articles may focus on the overarching concept of sustainable development, but will preferably focus on one or more specific Sustainable Development Goals.

Deadline
Authors wishing to submit a paper should provide an abstract of 150 words for consideration by the editors. Abstracts should be submitted via the online form by Monday, 15 May 2017. For more information, please contact sustainable.procurement@unops.org.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
