​​UNOPS infrastructure projects consider a wide range of community needs. UNOPS has worked in South Sudan since 2005, providing partners with project management, infrastructure and procurement services. Projects are primarily focused on assisting partners with the design, construction and rehabilitation of physical infrastructure, including  roads, airstrips, bridges, schools, clinics, and government offices. UNOPS also procures a range of goods and services, and provides operational support to government and development organizations in the country.

UNOPS continues to support its humanitarian partners in improving access to water and food for people displaced by conflict and natural disaster.

In addition, the UNOPS peace and security multi-country programme supports mine action activities within South Sudan.
