UNOPS Director of Partnerships and Liaison Group, Emilie Potvin, will moderate a roundtable discussion ‘Towards 2030: Partnerships for Climate Action' that will focus on best practices for climate action, including multilateral partnerships and equitable governance.

On 15 July, UNOPS will co-host a panel discussion on infrastructure asset management’s role in a sustainable, inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19, with the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs. UNOPS Director of Implementation Practices and Standards, Nick O'Regan, will participate in the panel, which is a side event to the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.

The World Urban Forum examines rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change and policies. On 29 June, UNOPS will co-host a panel discussion on scaling up essential services in African cities.

As part of the European Development Days, UNOPS Director of Implementation Practices and Standards, Nick O'Regan, will participate in a lab debate on 21 June on how quality and green infrastructure can bring new opportunities in developing countries. The event will be live-streamed.

The Commission on the Status of Women is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. On 15 March, UNOPS Executive Director Grete Faremo will participate in a virtual side event on sustainable, resilient and inclusive infrastructure for gender equality and climate action.
