Tackling the climate crisis: What role for infrastructure? (Glasgow, United Kingdom)

Without climate-resilient infrastructure, communities around the world are exposed and vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. This jeopardizes the ability to address urgent needs as well as advance social and economic development. As part of a New York Times Climate Hub COP26 side event supported by UNOPS, Executive Director Grete Faremo will join a panel discussion on how to think, plan and act ahead to build equity and resilience into tomorrow’s infrastructure.

Women in Global Health Norway Annual Conference 2021 (Trondheim, Norway)

Hosted by the University of Oslo's Centre for Global Health, in collaboration with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, this event will focus on approaches and priorities related to women and girls' health after the COVID-19 pandemic. UNOPS Executive Director Grete Faremo will discuss women leadership in global health organizations in a post-pandemic era in a pre-recorded address.
