UNOPS has been active in Kenya since 1995, providing partners with project management, infrastructure and procurement services, as well as advisory services, human resources management and financial management.

Notably, UNOPS has provided recruitment and contract administration, and procurement and travel in support of the African Union's continuing work towards the Kenya National Dialogue and Reconciliation process, with funding from Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Regional support

In addition to Kenya, the UNOPS office in Nairobi supports partners in nine other countries in the region. UNOPS helps partners achieve their projects goals in key sectors, including education, health, governance, loan supervision and rural development.
