The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS)

Mission: Just digital transformation
Access to digital technologies, infrastructure and information is key to accelerating sustainable development and building a more equal and prosperous future for all.
Essential public services – such as health, education and energy – increasingly rely on connectivity and data to improve delivery, monitoring, efficiency and accessibility. While digital technologies also play an ever greater role in creating new sources of economic growth and livelihood opportunities.
Yet, around the world, billions of people lack access to the internet and other digital tools needed to thrive. Many would-be users, particularly in developing nations, also lack the skills needed to take advantage of being connected.
Through this mission, UNOPS is committed to providing the practical solutions needed to advance a just and equitable digital transformation – supporting our partners’ efforts to close the digital divide, advance sustainable development, and ensure we leave no one behind.
How we support
