Democratic Republic of Congo: Launching of 11 micro-projects for the prevention of youth violence in Kinshasa City KINSHASA, 22 September 2026.— The Ministry of Planning and Development Aid Coordination, with the technical support of UNOPS, carried out the official launch of 11 community micro-projects today. This micro-projects are part of the Peacebuilding Fund project and its prevention of youth violence component.

India: Danish Ambassador marks handover of rural water supply scheme to community in Mirzapur MIRZAPUR, UTTAR PRADESH, 15 September 2026.— This treatment plant is a part of a multi-village scheme sourcing its water from Belan river. Under Jal Jeevan Mission, the treated water is providing clean drinking water to 258 villages, of which three villages are UNOPS intervention villages.

RIISE begins operations to accelerate resilient infrastructure delivery in the Eastern Caribbean MIAMI, 15 September 2026.— The governments of Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can now access support from the Caribbean Resilient Infrastructure Implementation and Skills Exchange (RIISE) Facility to accelerate the delivery of climate-resilient infrastructure projects.

UNOPS and OBP partner to modernize and strengthen centralized procurement in Albania TIRANA, 10 September 2026.– The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the Central Purchasing Operator (OBP) of Albania signed a cooperation agreement on 8 September 2026 to implement a six-month technical support project. -
Ministry of Justice of Sint Maarten moves to expand detention capacity through Foreign Detention Center upgrades PHILIPSBURG, 8 September 2026.— The intervention forms part of the Ministry’s broader Detention Sector Reform Program and was formalized through an amendment expanding the Sint Maarten Rule of Law Facilities Project under the existing agreement between the Government of Sint Maarten, the Government of the Netherlands and UNOPS.
