UNOPS Global Portfolios bring together a range of expertise to help partners deliver impact worldwide.
With hubs in New York, Geneva and Vienna, and expert teams operating across regions, we lead complex, multi-regional initiatives that advance sustainable development, peacebuilding and climate action.
We work in close collaboration with the UN family, governments and other local and international partners. Our work ranges from supporting mine action in some of the world’s most fragile and conflict-affected contexts, to expanding access to healthcare and clean water, to helping protect the environment.

New YorkThe New York Portfolios Office (NYPO) leads UNOPS New York-based portfolios to successfully deliver project and programme management, as well as procurement, human resources and financial management services, for our partners with global mandates. Partners include the UN Secretariat, UN funds, programmes and agencies, and UN Member States.

GenevaFrom Geneva, UNOPS works with governments, fellow UN organizations, and various partners to help advance the 2030 Agenda. This includes supporting platforms for multilateral action as well as managing significant initiatives and funds that concentrate on key areas like health, nutrition, clean water and sanitation, sustainable urban development, environmental protection, and trade.

Peace and Security ClusterUNOPS Peace and Security Cluster works to improve safety and security in some of the world’s most challenging environments. The cluster works jointly with the UN, governments and other partners to implement explosive threat management projects, programmes and portfolios of every size, laying the foundations for peace and sustainable development.

Sustainable Development ClusterUNOPS Sustainable Development Cluster supports the UN Secretariat and New York-based UN partner agencies and initiatives by providing a range of support services for programmes with a global outreach. Our support – including technology, grant management services and expertise for development and special initiatives – reaches approximately 125 countries.

Water, Environment and ClimateThe Water, Environment and Climate (WEC) portfolio, focuses its services on three key thematic areas: Water resource management, environmental conservation and climate action.
This portfolio extends support to vital climate initiatives through project implementation, program management, fund administration, grant distribution and operational support.
Across the world, we provide infrastructure, project management and procurement services, with a particular focus on peace and security, sustainable development, and climate action.
