Please note that as of February 2016, UNOPS has started using an e-tendering system (UNOPS eSourcing) which is integrated with the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM). Tender notices created using this system are only posted on the UNGM portal ( so vendors are encouraged to check on UNGM for a list of all current tender notices. Projected potential requirements of goods, services and works for UNOPS projects can be found in our procurement plans. UNOPS makes such project procurement plans available to the public in order to foster effective competition and increase transparency. By notifying the supplier community of forthcoming procurement requirements, UNOPS expects to increase the probability of receiving responsive offers and increasing competition and transparency.


The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is aware that fraudulent procurement related documents, such as solicitation documents or purchase orders, are being distributed purporting to be from UNOPS. These documents contain representations of the UNOPS emblem, logo, initials and/or signatures from UNOPS officials.
As of Feb 2015 there has been an increase in incidences of fraudulent documents being recorded in Iraq. We are currently conducting investigations into these events.
