As part of the Ministry of Mines and Geology-led, World Bank-financed Natural Resources Management and Reform Implementation Project, UNOPS will support the Ministry's efforts to strengthen the technical capacities of the National Geology Laboratory.

On behalf of the government, UNOPS will procure modern laboratory equipment to enhance the country's capacity to analyze, research and monitor the quality of its geological resources. UNOPS will also train staff on operating and maintaining the equipment.
