Innovation and entrepreneurship will play a critical role in helping communities and nations mitigate and respond to some of the world’s biggest challenges, including climate change.

Faced with multiple crises, the world needs bold ideas. Sustainable solutions. And a nurturing environment that supports innovation.

UNOPS Innovation Programme aims to help solve real world challenges by advancing innovation and private sector involvement, as well as leverage new technologies to provide practical solutions with tangible impact.

Innovation Centres

UNOPS Innovation Centres bring together a diverse range of innovators, entrepreneurs, programmers and researchers to provide creative ideas and solutions needed to advance the 2030 Agenda and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Our Innovation Centres support innovation by building local communities and reliable networks to draw on expertise, knowledge and technology.

The community model seeks to tap into the unique perspectives and contextual knowledge of each Innovation Centre location and to develop and run events and activities to inspire, activate and support the growth of new ideas.
