The forum will bring together members of the public and private sectors as well as international and civil society organizations to address current global challenges and advance policies for financing long-term sustainable development priorities. UNOPS Executive Director Jorge Moreira da Silva will moderate 'Panel discussion 3: Domestic and international private business and finance' on 23 April.

This event explores how to tackle global challenges head-on, including solutions to ramp up finance and knowledge, foster private sector investment and prepare for future crises. UNOPS Executive Director Jorge Moreira da Silva will attend the event.

As part of the first-ever Sustainability Week at UN Headquarters, the UN General Assembly will have several events focused on paving the way for a sustainable future. UNOPS Executive Director Jorge Moreira da Silva will attend the 'Informal dialogue on building resilience and promoting sustainable development through infrastructure connectivity' on 18 April.
