UNOPS in Sierra Leone works with the government, UN and other partners to support long-term sustainable development – promoting peace and building resilience.

Through a range of procurement, project management and infrastructure-related services, we help to increase access to  basic services and provide renewable energy solutions that promote health, education and economic opportunities in rural and urban communities across the country.

UNOPS works closely with partners to increase the economic, social and environmental sustainability of the projects we support – with a focus on efficiency and developing national capacity.

We provide tailored solutions in health, energy,  climate change mitigation and governance, among other sectors, in support of the government's development priorities and to advance progress on the Sustainable Development Goals.
