UNOPS in Zambia is working closely with the government and other development partners to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Through a range of infrastructure and procurement services, UNOPS is helping to improve healthcare services as well as key infrastructure for the people of Zambia.

Key Information

  • UNOPS impact in Zambia

    • Procured a range of medical equipment on behalf of the Ministry of Health, helping to improve Zambia’s maternal health system and services.

    • Building an oxygen production plant that will provide life-saving medical oxygen to more than 40 health centres across Zambia's Copperbelt Province.

    • Procuring and installing six additional oxygen plants in six provinces for Zambia's Ministry of Health.
