In an effort to build resilient communities and empower the people of Pakistan, UNOPS supports a wide variety of projects that promote sustainability by providing infrastructure, procurement, project management and operational support, as well as human resource services.

From providing safe and reliable transportation for women, to supporting democracy, UNOPS works together with partners to provide long-lasting impact.

  • UNOPS impact in Pakistan

    • Improved access to services and opportunities for women by providing 30 bus stops and 14 buses for exclusive use by women.
    • Provided human resource services and administered +800 personnel on behalf of the World Health Organization Pakistan.
    • Supported democracy by training and supporting around 480,000 election officials in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme.
