In an effort to build resilient communities and empower the people of Pakistan, UNOPS supports a wide variety of projects that promote sustainability by providing infrastructure, procurement, project management and operational support, as well as human resource services.

From providing safe and reliable transportation for women, to supporting democracy, UNOPS works together with partners to provide long-lasting impact.

  • UNOPS impact in Pakistan

    • 62 million people to benefit from 45 upgraded government-owned water testing labs.

    • 301,839 individuals to be provided with WASH facilities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh provinces.

    • 14,000 personnel administered on behalf of WHO Pakistan to support the Polio Free Pakistan Program.

    • 2,200,000 mosquito nets and 27,100 tents were procured for the Sindh government to support the Flood Response Program.

    • 3 sustainable and climate-resilient hostels to accommodate 440 policewomen at police training colleges.
