In 2013, UNOPS supported 1,230 projects worth $1.14 billion on behalf of these partners.

Our partners request this support in order to supplement their own capacities, reduce risks, improve speed, quality or cost-effectiveness.

Meeting partners' requirements

As a not-for-profit organization, UNOPS is motivated only to meet the expectations of its partners, while working to further development efficiency and sustainability.  UNOPS role as a service provider means that our partners' priorities and needs dictate the scope, focus and location of our work.

UNOPS services are tailored to meet short- and long-term requirements – from running full projects and complete procurement processes to temporarily filling gaps in our partners' implementation capacity.

All information about the partners that UNOPS works with, the volume and content of the contracts signed, and the goals and progress of projects can be accessed via our detailed transparency portal,
